The Isthmus Beer & Cheese Fest is almost upon us, but there is still time to get your tickets for this extraordinary event. On Saturday, January 29, 60 of Wisconsin's finest brewers and cheesemakers will tout over 200 varieties of their delectable creations at the Alliant Energy Center's Exhibition Hall.
Not only will the fest feature some of the most delectable beer and cheese offerings from across the state, but it also offers an opportunity to talk with and hear from experts illustrating how to best pair beer with an assortment of foods. Sara Hill, culinary manager of the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board, will provide insights on how to best pair a variety of cheeses with beers from the Potosi Brewing Company. Gail Ambrosius of Ambrosius Chocolatier and Aran Madden of Furthermore Beer will orchestrate an intriguing chocolate and beer pairing presentation. Finally, Isthmus contributor Robin Shepherd will host a panel discussion featuring a few of the Wisconsin Brewers Guild rock star brewers.

- 1 p.m.: Doors open to ticket-holders
- 1:30-2:30 p.m.: Cheese and beer pairing presentation with the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board culinary manager Sara Hill and Potosi Brewing brewmaster Steve Buszka
- 3:00-3:45 p.m.: Chocolate and beer pairing presentation with Gail Ambrosius of Ambrosius Chocolatier and Aran Madden of Furthermore Beer
- 4:15-5:00 p.m.: Panel discussion featuring rockstars of the Wisconsin Brewers Guild and Isthmus contributor Robin Shepherd talking about the craft and magic of brewing.
