Bicycle helmets festooned with ribbons, feathers, and flowers speak to the celebration captured in this photo, shot on Sunday at the closing ceremonies for the , raising a total of $287,420 in the process.
Riders, support crew, other ride volunteers, and supporters gathered on the first block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard on Sunday afternoon to celebrate the conclusion of the ride, which ended with a loop around Capitol Square, live music, and a presentation of a ceremonial check for the donations.
