Today's image is titled That darn house and was photographed by Katrin Madayag.
Here's another photo and story about the moving of the Conklin House, which drew throngs of onlookers and tied up traffic in downtown Madison during its trip across the isthmus. Madayag explains: "So I saw this house being moved Sunday night near campus. It blocked West Johnson Street and screwed up my drive home. I thought no more of it after taking a detour. Come Tuesday afternoon, the house apparently followed me home, getting grounded about three blocks away." The two halves of the building have yet to be reconnected and placed on the foundation of its new home on East Mifflin Street.
