Today's image is titled We are all mechanics and was photographed by Angela Richardson.
Cold winds and slippery streets are on their way once again, which means its time for year-round bicycle commuters out there to start weatherizing themselves and their rides for the approaching season. India Viola and Ali Dwyer of We Are All Mechanics, or WAAM, shared information about winter riding in a presentation at the Willy Street Co-op on Saturday.
"I'm finally gonna get with the program this year because it's always waaaay too depressing to put my bike up for the season," notes Richardson in the caption to the photo. "I'm also looking forward to taking bike maintenance classes with these gals so that I can learn some greasemonkey skills." WAAM holds all of its classes at Revolution Cycles on Atwood Avenue; its next set scheduled through November is already booked solid, but registration for a January series will be opening soon.
