Ashland County D.A. and former MTV personality Sean Duffy isn't the only square-jawed young man looking to unseat an incumbent Wisconsin Democrat.
With a sudden outburst in social network activity and the establishment of a new website, Mount Horeb native and Facebook profile with an astonishing number of photos featuring the candidate-to-be and his fandom of the Republican Party of Wisconsin, a Facebook group promoting his candidacy, his role as keyboardist in a Madison-based and fairly popular Christian rock band named Rex Lex, and a Twitter account announcing "Photoshoot for the new website!"
On his new campaign site -- at this date, a partially-filled tempate really -- there's a page called "About Chad," which isn't much more than a campaign spiel yet. "Today, when I look out over the United States, I see true Americans. I see potential!" it reads. "I see people who make this country work, who believe that we can all be the best as long as weighty regulations, huge government and outrageous taxes don't stand in our way!"
There's no specific mention of partisan affiliation, but Lee's stated platform of "1. Smaller Government, 2. Lower Taxes, 3. Family Values" suggests Lee won't be facing Baldwin in a Democratic primary.
