On a day that felt more like mid-October than late August, the King Street Block Party gave Madisonians one last opportunity to let it all hang out last Saturday before school started this week.
In the afternoon, music from DJ Nick Nice as well as The Black Lights accompanied dozens of pint-sized hula hoopers who converged on King Street to play games. And after a brief squall blew through town in the early evening, the Blueheels took the stage followed by disco practitioners VO5.
