An hour ago I checked the vote tally at MATC, where I had voted earlier in the day. It had climbed up to 415 almost half of the way towards that ward's total in 2006, the last midterm. Given the huge surge of voters who will come after work, from 5-7, the number seems promising.
At Memorial Library, an almost entirely student polling place, 627 had voted by 3:45, almost half of the way towards the 1,300 who voted in 2006. Could they get up to that number by 8 p.m.? Any experts out there know?
