Happy Thanksgiving! It's a relatively quiet week for Madison nightlife, but the calendar does include a show by Youth Lagoon, as well as holiday-eve celebrations in the form of the seventh annual comedy show emceed by Kevin Bozeman and TownieFest 2011.

Monday 11.21 NOTEWORTHY: Mayflower Compact signed, 1620.

High Noon Saloon, 8 pm
Though he posted his first Youth Lagoon song to the Interwebs a mere seven months ago, Idahoan Trevor Powers has become one of the year's most buzzed-about indie-pop artists after nabbing a record deal with Fat Possum and releasing his debut LP, The Year of Hibernation, in September. With Young Magic and Houses.

Comedy Club on State, 8:30 pm
For many years now the comic, a Madison native, has presented this Thanksgiving Eve night of yuks. The lineup includes national acts Hannibal Buress, Pete Lee, B.T. and Andy Woodhull.

High Noon Saloon, 8:30 pm
The homegrown rappers of the Crest and 21st Century Crew will join Nate Craig and gracious host Gary Knowledge to work up an appetite for Thanksgiving dinner.

Thursday 11.24
