Overture Center for the Arts has released its schedule of events for the 2012-2013 season. There are big names -- Bill Cosby (Oct. 19), Branford Marsalis (Feb. 28), the Mormon Tabernacle Choir (June 18) -- and acts that may be new to you, like les 7 Doigts de la Main, the Quebec troupe that will present its circus-like show PSY (April 18-21).

There are acts familiar from other Overture seasons: Capitol Steps (Oct. 5), Four Bitchin' Babes (May 11). There are kids' shows, many of them featuring lovely puppetry work, like 3-Legged Tale (Nov. 25) and The Little Prince (Feb. 3).

There's music: Birdland Big Band (Oct. 23), Max Raabe & Palast Orchester (April 8). There's dance: Diavolo (Feb. 1), Hubbard Street Dance Chicago with LINES Ballet (March 20). There are two pops concerts performed by the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra: Disney in Concert: Magical Music from the Movies (Oct. 6) and Live & Let Die: A Tribute to Paul McCartney (March 2).

And, yes, there is Broadway. Next season's shows include Jersey Boys (Nov. 5-26), Rock of Ages (Dec. 4-9), West Side Story (Feb. 12-17), and Mary Poppins (March 12-17).
