Madison Snaps: September 28, 2006

Credit:Nicole Possley

Today's image is titled Madison and was photographed by Nicole Possley.

This photo depicts the northwest face of a building at 301 South Blount St., in between Willy Street and the Capitol City Bike Path. The faded sign announces that the old brick structure was formerly the home of the International Harvester Company of America, an important source of farm equipment, tractors, and other agricultural implements during the east-side's industrial heyday. More information about the building is available from the Madison Trust for Historical Preservation and Mark Sadowski.

There is a larger version of the photo in the gallery at right.

This is the latest entry of Madison Snaps: photos of Madison-area events and locations.
