The two trailers selling tickets to Freakfest on State Street were fairly busy by late Friday afternoon, with a more-or-less continuous stream of purchasers approaching all four sales windows to conduct their Halloween business. One of the persons conducting the sales was Laura Whitmore, the community relations coordinator for the city's Parks Departments. In a brief video interview with The Daily Page, Whitmore discusses the stream of ticket sales through Friday afternoon and their plans to role out more vendors on Saturday.
The brief interview with Whitmore follows below.
Tickets will be on sale from 1:00 p.m. until late into the night on Saturday, available at trailers in the UW Library Mall, the intersection of North Henry and West Gilman streets, and on the Square at the first block of North Carroll Street.
