The new location for final meal at its original 25 N. Pinckney location on Saturday evening, capping more than three decades as one of the city's most widely-celebrated restaurants.
Staff for the new incarnation of L'Etoile and its sibling gastropub are currently undergoing training. Inside, workers are putting the finishing touches on the decor.
Peering in through the glass (plentiful, as the two restaurants will be housed in US Bank Plaza, a.k.a "the glass bank,") reveals Graze to have nifty mid-century-modern lighting strung high near the tall ceilings, with industrial-style silver chairs and a kelly green on the tables. The L'Etoile side has a more earth-toned palette, with dark wood chairs. Facing the front of the building, Graze is on the right, L'Etoile on the left.
