The Madison Alcohol License Review Committee will meet Wednesday, Feb. 13, at 5:30 p.m. As detailed in its agenda (PDF), here are some of the issues to come under discussion.
Essen Haus is requesting permission to add some outdoor seating and an outdoor volleyball court.
One Barrel Brewing is asking for an increase in capacity from 65 to 80, which hinges on the rules for available parking stalls and reducing the necessary number.
The Coopers Tavern is planning an expansion of its space to the second floor to host groups and private events, and hence adding an elevator and bathrooms.
Point Cinema is requesting a liquor license for a full-service bar to go with increased food service, appetizers, Zaffiro's Pizza, salads and sandwiches.
Milwaukee-based Alterra Coffee Roasters will be opening its first Madison space in the ground floor of the Tenney Building, 110 East Main St., and is seeking a liquor license for wine and beer. The latter will be supplied by One Barrel Brewing, with the menu featuring a coffee stout and rotating seasonal. The focus will remain on coffee, however, and food served will be bakery items, soups and sandwiches. Hours are projected to be 6 a.m.-9 p.m daily.
Alcohol license updates for Plan B and the restaurant formerly known as T.Sushi are also on the agenda.
