Wreath Making with Natural Materials
Pinney Library 516 Cottage Grove Road, Madison, Wisconsin 53716
Tuesday, October 13, 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM
At this hands-on workshop, participants will learn to make a wreath from natural materials. Herbs, grasses, and grains will be woven into a grapevine base with all materials provided. Attendees are asked to bring lightweight pruning shears, heavy kitchen scissors and a glue gun if possible (some equipment will be available to share if you do not have your own to bring). These Polish-style wreaths are being made in October to celebrate Polish American Heritage month. Call 224-7100 to register. The Bubbler program is supported by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services. This workshop is sponsored by the Polish Heritage Club of Wisconsin-Madison and the Friends of the Pinney Library.
