Crema Cafe, the coffeehouse and sandwich beacon on Monona Drive, is now hosting twice-monthly dinners cooked by chef Steven Buchholz. The next two are scheduled for March 11 and 25; menus will be posted at goodcrema.com.
"We can get about 25 people in the dining room," says Buchholz. "There's a great vibe. We put out candles, but not white tablecloths." For Buchholz, it's a chance to try different culinary directions: "I can only do so much at the cafe." And he's looking forward to planning some outdoor picnic-style events for summer.
