La Rocca's Restaurant & Pizzeria

Where are you eating and what do you think? What's opening, closing, succeeding, failing?

When I went there last fall, I had a pepperoni slice, and all I could taste was the topping. The crust had the taste and personality of cardboard. If they have upgraded their crust since then, I would welcome giving them another chance.

I haven't had a chance to try it yet - the two times I've suggested it they have been closed. And as we passed again today it was closed, and I noticed (again) the "for rent" sign that is in the window. Is the restaurant still in business? The sign makes me think I've missed my chance.

La Roccas is still open. We ate there last night. The for rent sign relates to some office space (in back?).

I thought they were likely still open, as I've seen that for rent sign up there for the past several months as La Rocca's have been open. Thanks for confirming.

Happily now that it is summer Eggplant Florentine is back on the menu at LaRocca's! (I confess that I've been waiting for it all year.) Its a variation on the standard e-plant parm.-the presence of spinach is slight and it comes drenched in a creamy sauce-a perfect dish for Heavy Vegetarian eating.
