Last summer they did a promotion at a Mallards game where everyone was given a 2# box of Chinese food from them. It was an assortment of pot stickers, egg rolls, and pre-cooked chicken and pork for use in stir fries.

The quality and flavor was the same as any decent frozen food. There was nothing special or really great about it that made me believe they have anything more to offer than what's in the frozen food aisle at Woodmans.

More to the point, I don't like eating meat that is grown on factory farms, and I'm sure that's exactly what you're getting from them. I buy meats local, and I do the same for most of the vegetables I get. Do a little extra cooking when you have the time and freeze it yourself. The quality and price will be better, and you'll know what you're eating.

Totally agree - slightly better than average frozen food. After a busy day and too few trips to the store lately, we were looking for something for dinner and my wife stopped at mymenu on a lark. My wife had a chicken pot pie and I had the shepherd's pie. The chicken pot pie wasn't bad - flaky crust and decent veggies (the chicken was a little dry and bland). The shepherd's pie was mediocre but no better and no worse than my mother's shepherd's pie (maybe this says more about my mother's cooking than mymenu). For the quality it is too expensive - 6 bucks for a tiny portion of shepherd's pie with middling ingredients, texture and flavor. If I want mediocrity, then I want to pay almost nothing for it.
