Pasta Nuovo

Where are you eating and what do you think? What's opening, closing, succeeding, failing?

Pasta Nuovo

Pasta Nuovo is open in Middleton where Tutto Pasta used to be. I tried it for dinner and liked it but it's a bit expensive. Menu is here:

I know the Chef. He is a good guy who gets flavors. He is also very creative and puts unexpected things together in the right places. He has passion.

He has been in the biz a long time and knows how to run a pro kitchen. His crew is solid and is turning out dependable dishes.

I had the Sausage: Housemade Italian sausage served atop garlic risotto. The put a nice strip of red sauce over the top. Hit the spot in a lot of ways. Meat, garlic, creamy, filling, satisfying.

Nicely stocked bar.

edit: was not loud.

Seriously love this place. The food is great tasting and best part is that it's non-gmo organic and grass fed meet which is from local farmers of Wisconsin. Support the local economy and check this place out. Prices are good considering the quality, along with the ambiance. I love the PAPPARDELLE BOLOGNESE, but have only tried a few things. You will not be disapointed

For the prices they charge I wish entrees came with vegetables or a salad.

Pasta Nuovo closed

They closed, unfortunately. Only lasted six months. They added items to their menu this Winter and it looked good. Was looking forward to going there this weekend. Their web page exists still:

Signs say another Takara Japanese restaurant is opening there. Darn, I was hoping for something good.

Ate at the Takara on Whitney Way yesterday. It was better than good.

The near-forced-labor adds that extra something to the meal.
