For a Hippie you like to bitch/argue a lot. I thought it was about peace and love...MAN?!?!

I know a lot of hippies and found the video to be pretty funny.

And just because one likes Dave Mathews does not make one a hippie.

It did look like there were some Willy St. hippies dancing in the crowd.

This is why I normally don't post on these things...people take everything the wrong way. Nowhere did I say it was a bad thing to be a hippie. I actually don't mind hippies at all. But that dude qualifies as a hippie. He's got dave, pink floyd and the dead listed as favorite records.
I'm pretty sure if you list the Grateful dead as one of yr favorite records that makes you a hippie no matter what.
haha
Nothing against the dead or floyd....it's just the way it is.

Ann Coulter says she's a Deadhead.

The shortage of fun rock'n'roll around makes me cranky. Maybe.....maybe I should do something about that.

If you make an earnest attempt to become the Gallagher of Rock'n'Roll, I promise to mock those who do not understand.

I'd sit under plastic to watch Kyle smash watermelons with his DeArmond.

He has to grow out a Bozo ring first, though.

Pinto, actually send me an e-mail at:
defactobrigade@gmail.com

I can't seem to find the PM option on this board, so I don't think they have that set up here.

So just e-mail me at that address and I'll get you those tracks.

Awful to me certainly doesnt mean its awful music.

So...um...what DOES it mean then? What else COULD it possibly mean? You are talking about a video of a band playing music...is it their clothes, or the camera work, or just the fair itself that's awful? Or did you actually mean that just because it's "awful to you" that doesn't mean it really is awful? That would make it sort of a useless thing to post. If you really hate something then own up to your opinion; the forum thrives on that kind of thang.

And BTW, some of us chronic east siders like to dress up on a theme every year for the Fair....so "flashback" and "hippie" style outfits were prominent and intentional this year. My taste in music crosses over some with early Airplane, Pink Floyd, etc. -- but not the Grateful Dead, and so we never considered ourselves to be hippies -- we are FREAKS, thank you very much!
