ZIMA WARRIOR PRINCESS: dead

Postby blunt » Thu Oct 23, 2008 3:54 pm

MillerCoors LLC announced Monday that it will discontinue the clear malt beverage Zima, introduced by Coors Brewing Co. in 1992, because of "challenging malternative segment sales and declining consumer interest."

Huh.
I thought they already had.
Years ago.

There’s no reason to drink Red Bull unless you like Zima.
There’s no reason to drink Zima unless you like warm flat crème soda left out over night.
There’s no reason to drink warm flat crème soda left out over night unless you like shit.
There’s no reason to eat shit.
It’s icky.

Good riddance.

I think I still have that alterna-compilation Zima gave out from back in the mid-nineties lying around somewhere. Wasn't a bad comp from what I remember but yeah...Zima......oooooooff! Thumbs down. Belongs in the "horrendously bad pop-culture anomalies" category along with pet rocks, rubix cubes and Tab.
