TORPEDO DESTROYS ASYLUM!!!

Bars, wine, beer, cocktails, drunken escapades

Where can I find some of that AA Ballistic? On tap?

I tasted the Sticky McDoogle or whatever they call it today. Strong stuff. A decent "morn bier".

I think all the Mercy Cru in town is done.

Torpedo is good.

Speaking of ales, I've heard that anything made in Scotland is usually pretty bad. But I've also heard that Scotsmen drink a lot of it while they are hanging out with their sheep if you know what I mean

I do like the New Glarus Cherry Ale. Great flavor.

Just this Monday I scored a 4 pack of Mercy at Woodmans West.

Had both Ballistic and Torpedo last night at the Malt House. Both were great. Liked the SN at bit more.

Like I said, comparing AIPAs, they're both great but SNT simply inches out the local team with a higher booze level and an aftertaste you can take to a first date or job interview, while AAH and B leave a viscous film in my mouth more at home Tuesday morning at the Silver Dollar.
Hell, just buy them all and get drunk 3-fisted style.

Ballistic is also on tap at Monroe St Bistro.
And, I got a 4-pack of Mercy at Jenifer St Market a few weeks ago.

Are Ballistic 6ers still on the shelf at any local establishment? Woodman's East had it for a spot...

Ballistic still available at Steve's University as of yesterday. Both of these beers are great. Torpedo might be the best shower beer of all time.

Ballistic is clearly and bitterly the winner so far.
(You can find it at Riley's.)
Forget comparing mouthtaste between Torpedo and Hopalicious---Ballistic is like brushing your teeth with drunk.
And it has a higher alchohol content.
Yum!
Only problem: these ales are sometimes to potent for that right-before-work drink.
That's why Sierra's Pale Ale will always wax wonderful with it's cute little floral notes....
BUT.
Sierra's ESB (Early Spring Beer) is baaaaack.
Yow! Clear cool and a genius drunk but with a 5.9, it's not so devastating to the need for employment.
Fresh and clean like a mountain stream without the dirty bears.
Rather than swigging a Torp, Hop or Ball and waking up 45 minutes later late for work and halfway through Maury, you're out the door on time with a smile on your face, and buzz in your heart, and maybe you forgot your sunglasses, that's all.

(Beer in photo being portrayed by last year's bottle.)
