Dear Dr. Know,
Was that place open to the public? Did you ever go?

I know the answers to two-thirds of those questions.

Column? I don't need no stinkin' column.

Ask me via electron here on the forum and I'll tell you about working for the Clampdown.

We were this close to getting Walter to pen a regular "Ask a Flatfoot" column.

Dammit, Walter. I'm trying to help. You're screwing up the pitch!
No wonder you haven't sold your Reggae Cop pilot yet.
Don't drive down the market by giving it away on the street corner!!
I'm fragile and can't handle much more rejection.
Consider: posting stuff here is like peeing in the wind, whereas having it printed in soy ink within the hallowed pages of Isthmus is like decoupage on a shingle.

PLEASE!!!! Get rid of this column - this has got to be some of the most lazy, insipid, juvenile writing ever. This week's was the last straw. "Tell All" has evidently never heard of transference, or thought to talk to a working therapist who could've informed him/her that this is a common phenomenon which a professional therapist has been trained to work with. If the client does not want to "go there" in his/her therapy, or decides that talking to another therapist might be better, that's his/her choice, but for "Tell All" to say "you're going to lose your therapist" and "it's not a healthy relationship" if this issue is brought up, is just plain stupid and/or uninformed.

It's clearly meant to be a for-yukks column and not an actual advice column. The unfortunate truth is that it's not very funny, just yuck.

Here's an idea-- how about using that space to bring back The Straight Dope, which was actually, you know, informative.

Ditto.
My guess is someone within the editorial cabal is writing the thing to save money.

Well it's better than reading a self-centered Mr. Right who went on and on all about his situation and then gave the advice in the last three words.
So Tell All is abreath of fresh air from the previous bombastic bloward.

I really wish we'd get someone like Savage or Dr.Hippocrates. Yeah, I know I'm aging myself and these guys are probably too expensive. Just sayin'...
