If I could install software on my workstation, do you think I'd be using internet explorer 6 to look at the daily page?

Yeah, but unlike those other two bozos, I show signs of improvement and/or growth.

My most recent "What's Wags Been Listening To?" mix:
1. You're A Hard Habit To Break LINDA BALINTINE
2. Turn The Hi-Fi Down WILLIE HEADEN
3. Out Of This World THE DETROIT COBRAS
4. Plastic Fantastic Lover (Live) JEFFERSON AIRPLANE
5. Call The Doctor THE GOD DAMNS
6. Joe Lies THE DIALS
7. Mighty Mighty (Spade & Whitey) THE IMPRESSIONS
8. Outcast THE ANIMALS
9. Dissatisfied FLEETWOOD MAC
10. On The Street MUDCRUTCH
11. Ted Fucking Williams THE BASEBALL PROJECT
12. Will You Be My Love THE FOUR J'S
13. What Is Love (I Found Love) JIMMY DOBBINS
14. Something's Changed SHARON JONES & THE DAP-KINGS
15. Drugs Ain't Cool EBONY RHYTHM BAND
16. Oceans And Streams THE BLACK KEYS
17. The Red & The Black BLUE ÖYSTER CULT
18. The Wanton Song LED ZEPPELIN
19. Give Me Money PLASTIC PENNY
20. Black Skin Blue-Eyed Boys THE EQUALS
21. Alone With You FARON YOUNG
22. Shine On (Big Bright Moon, Shine On) RUTH BROWN
23. Buick '59 THE MEDALLIONS
24. 50 Miles To Go DICK DALE
25. I Don't Want The Night To End NICK LOWE
26. Out Of Breath RONNIE WHITEHEAD
27. Things Are Going To Get Better SMALL FACES
28. I'm Coming Home THE NEPTUNES

I count no fewer than 6 songs on there from the last 20 years -- see if you can spot them all! Heck, I should have smacked a label on the jewel case that says, "Contains 20% new(ish) music!"
As Saddam said to Satan: "I can change!"

Personal to supa: I did make you a copy of this, I just haven't actually given it to you yet.

Hey-dude! Cool. Can you edit out the Fleetwood Mac? Kidding!

I suppose I could, but if you can't, then I see no hope in our album ever getting finished...

Not that I feel the need to defend Stevie Nicks from your barbs, but I should point out that the Mac song included on my mix is from the pre-Stevie era.

I figured as much. I simply wanted to insult Nicks.

Although she'll always be laughable in many ways (which isn't to say I don't like a lot of her songs, 'cuz I do), I gotta say that my opinion of her just as a person increased tremendously after seeing her in the Tom Petty documentary. She seemed pretty cool, actually. But to quote Johnny from Airplane!: "Where did you get that dress, it's awful, and those shoes and that coat, jeeeeez!"

And while technically "Dissatisfied" is pre-Stevie, it's a Christine McVie song from 1973's Penguin which sounds much like what she'd still be writing come the arrival of Buckingham-Nicks. If I told someone who'd never heard it that it was a Rumours-era b-side, I'd bet no one would doubt me.

ZIIIIIIING!!!

Geez... last time I give full disclosure around here. What does it get me? Grief, that's what.

My thin skin cannot bear all this anti-Fleetwood Mac sentiment and I must reteat... I ask myself, what would Kyle do if he felt threatened thusly? Right! 4th-rate '60s lame-rock to the rescue! Someone cue up Wayne Fontana and the Mindbenders quick before the production values, songwriting craft, and supple rhythms of Fleetwood Mac overwhelm me!

Oh come on now, The Mindbenders are no worse than 3rd rate at best.

Although "Game Of Love" is easily 10x better than anything the Mac ever did. Rumours?!? Never has cocaine abuse resulted in music so dull, sterile and lifeless. Did they do so much blow that they fell asleep in the studio?

And I'm not really into 4th-rate 60s rock right now, it's more obscure IL power-pop and mid-60s Everly Bros. in folk-rock mode. Oh, and your Joan Jett mix has been blasting in my car all week.

Now that I've completely derailed the thread about the nude dude, let's get back to that Tygers of Pan Tang thread and get this Friday rollin'.

While I most totally agree that it's awesome you're listening to some new stuff, I just have to say that Mudcrutch really shouldn't count as new. It should just be categorized as "terrible" and left alone.
