The man is a genius ass and should not be thwarted by you greedy capitalist bastards on King Street.

What ever happened to ass for ass' sake?

I hope everybody is paying attention here. A very well-respected man of the community called me a genius. Things had damn well better start changing around here.

I only post on a few forums out there, but the APT ad is the MOST intrusive ad I've ever seen because it not only covers up forum content, but reopens a few seconds after I close it. I use IE, no ad blocker because sometimes I do like to see the ads.

Well... a "genius ass". There's a difference.

And change they have!
I just got a very nice e-mail from someone at APT apologizing for their intrusive ad. She explained that the ad was not working properly, thanked me for the heads up, and said Isthmus would be contacted about removing it until they can make it function properly. Pretty nifty.

And Jason, thanks for caring. No ad blocker action will be necessary, I'm happy to say.

Thank you. It was really annoying. I love APT, but that ad was just bad.

Genius is genius, baby. Bass owners unite!

I don't mind the ads but that one was clearly not working correctly. Good to hear it's getting fixed.

Some people use ad-blockers and some people use ass-blockers but I use neither.

Alright now, I’m real fast,
Let me tell you what I think and this shall come to pass,
My name is ‘Geek’ I put ‘em on as a shocker,
Man, I love… these Blu Blockers,
Everything is clear, they block out the sun,
Oh yeah, I gotta get me some,
Everything is groovy now no bull in my speech,
This is what I do up and down Venice Beach,
My name is ‘Geek’ I’m more than a hip-hopper,
and I’ll be chic in my BluBlockers,
Yeah, know what I mean,
Everything is groovy, do you know what I mean?
I float like a butterfly, sting like a bee,
Yep, these blockers are OK with me,
Yeah, see? It’s a fact,
My blockers, yeah, they go with my hat,
What more can I say, ahh, they are so nice,
These are the words that I love to spice,
Everything is great, now I must speak,
Blu Blockers, yeah, are for Dr. Geek,
So there ya have it folks, out there in TV land,
Get ya some glasses, that are sweep’n the land,
Remember what I said, now I’m a hip-hopper,
Yeah, go get ya some Blu Blockers, uh!
Nahh, yep it’s sweet,
I’ll see ya later, I gotta make some money on the beach

Tru dat.

Channel3000.com has a Chula Vista ad that pushes the ENTIRE site down a couple inches.

When will marketers realize that pissing off visitors is doing more harm than good?

grrrr...don't get me started on that frickin' thing, it took me a day of surfing at work to realize which site out of the four I cruise was responsible for that giant red pimple on my monitor. I like netflix. I think they have a good product, but pop-ups circa 1999, are a sure-fire way to piss me off.

Dan Motor

(like I said, work computer, I can't install my own programs. which means if I have to close a tab or a window as my boss walks up, good'ol Netflixs does of a great job of getting me busted!)
