Is there a point to this thread? Am I missing something or is this an example of viral marketing?

MadMind, here's a tip for you if you want to have more success with the ladies: when out on a first date, fight the urge to talk about chain restaurants...and don't take her to a chain restaurant. Your date will appreciate a Fyfe's, Tornado Room, Greenbush or Weary Travler much more than a TGI, Tumbleweeds, Applebee's or Chin's Asian Fresh. Trust me on this one.

Data, you mean. Not knowlege. Nor wisdom, certainly.

I hear they've been cranking out classical music outside of Gameworks on Block E to discourage loitering. That's hilarious.
I'm surprised my friend didn't clue me in on this development. We used to scour the Minneapolis area for arcades back in the late eighties/early nineties. Now all the spots we used to drop quarters are gone

Block "E" in general and "Gameworks" specifically are truly frightening destinations. "Keep low" lest 'yo ass gits capped. It's basically where the gangbangers and suburabanits rub shoulders. One innocent victim was shot in the head earlier this year. He was probably engaging in some sort of "risky behavior" as outlined by our fearless boy-mayor. I think he was walking down the street after a movie. How could he be so foolish?

Here's the article. The prep took it upon himself to blame the victims family for his fate (life-no parole) as he was led away.

Sorry to change the vibe of the thread, but this story is just beyond the pale.

I stopped questioning it a long time ago. Now I accept it. Sometimes I even enjoy it.
