When will Bulls BBQ reopen?

Postby hersheyfrogs » Sun Feb 04, 2007 9:03 pm

Does anyone know when Bull's BBQ will reopen? There is a sign on the door that says 1/29, but I was there this Saturday and no go. My husband loves this place and has been disappointed all month.

It is now for sale, I don't think it will reopen.
I really liked that place. Clean, good food, nice people.

Holy shit. That sucks so fucking hard. Bull's kicks ass. I really hope someone comes in and gets it back in gear.

How long has it been closed?

Last open week after Xmas maybe? I remember trying to go there the Tuesday after New Year's and it being closed. "Closed Tuesday and Wednesday".

UPDATE

Postby TheBookPolice » Fri Feb 09, 2007 1:20 pm

No sign on the door, all vehicles still parked where they've been (at least) since it snowed.

Voice mail message no longer refers to a date, but simply states that they're closed. I sent an e-mail last weekend that has yet to be answered.

There's a summons to appear at eviction proceedings posted on the front door at Bull's. Guess that means bad things, if it couldn't be served in person.

Damn that sucks, it is so hard for a small place to make it.

That sucks. Still the same "Sorry, we're closed" message on their machine.

I have to wonder if something out of the ordinary happened. The whole thing seems a bit strange.

It's still very strange. A quick check on CCAP shows that the eviction matter is closed (I'm sure that was a formality), but now there's a small claims case against Jason Tarkowski (the proprietor).

On the storefront side, everything is still in place. All chairs, signs and vehicles are still there.

Really, really odd. I'm a little surprised that there hasn't even been a peep in the news.
