Wish I has seen this thread earlier.
Michael's prices are totally whack. Their custard is superior to Culver's, IMO, but it's just not worth the price. I pay almost a dollar less for a one topping sundae with nuts at Culver's than a single scoop in a dish at Michael's. That's messed up! Michael's isn't that much better.
On a side note, I was recently disappointed to find out that our beloved Chocolate Shop uses corn syrup to make their ice cream. Sad, but true. I'll still eat it sometimes, but I don't feel as supportive of them as I once did now that I know they use cheap crap sweetener.
