The Eastside Players of Madison East High School are please to announce a special performance of PUSH, featuring a talk back with playwright George Cameron Grant.
PUSH tells the story of Eve, a young woman dealing with the loss of her brother, Billy, in the corner of a subway station. The play asks the question “What would it take push someone over the edge?” Eve remembers the events leading up to Billy’s tragic decision, and attempts to make sense of what it means for her as she find herself on the same subway ledge. PUSH deals with bullying, harassment, sexual preference equality, and ultimately finding hope. PUSH contains mature language and themes.

He is an 8-time Samuel French Off-Broadway Festival participant, and has been published by Samuel French and Baker’s Plays. PUSH was a finalist at the strawberry Festival. As a designer, he has created posters for films including Monster, Y Tu Mama Tambien, and Amadues.
