Brink Lounge Nightclub

$5.00 Cover

City Funk + Country Soul. The Original Funky Drummer, Clyde Stubblefield, and singer/songwriter Snuffy Smith have combined forces. For the past year they have been recording at Madison's Acme Sound Studios. Now they will share these historic recordings at this special show!

You can expect to hear Clyde's Classic Funk Beats and Snuffy's soulful voice backed by a dynamite band with Clyde's longtime guitar player Joe Wickham. Carolynn Black will be singing a bunch of songs too. Plus, The Funky Flowers Dance Team, will give Clyde a lap dance - hope he doesn't have a stroke.

Hope to see you all at the show.

Just bumping this up with a link to a video of a beautiful song, Lessons Learned, written by Snuffy Smith. Clyde Stubblefield is playing drums on this tune, and Mallards organ player,Harrissimo, is playing one of Acme Sound Studios' vintage Hammond B3 organs.
