SHOULD BE REQUIRED READING

What books, zines or other pulp are you reading? What aren't you reading? What should everyone else read?

SHOULD BE REQUIRED READING

A MAN WITHOUT A COUNTRY by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr

If you haven't read this then why am I even talking to you?
Read it. Now.
Brilliant, insightful short pieces punctuated by tiny felt marker hand-drawings of an asshole.
An end at each end.
Apart from this small book, there is nothing left to say and no way of saying it any better.
Vonnegut is a genius.
Should be required reading for everyone.
This book could actually cure and heal Ned, Uncle Fester, Tolerator, Sideshow Bob, and friends.
And these heart-rending guffaw-inducing profound realizations are written in such simple clear prose, even they can understand it.

on manilla envelopes:

"It's as though whoever made that envelope knew what size of paper I'm using."
