Cramer v. Stewart

How can cultural elitists like ourselves put TV in the Culture category? Well, where the hell else is it going to fit?

Cramer is an ex-hedge fund manager and did very well. I'm not a fan of hedge funds.

Now he is an entertainer, not a stock picker. He does very well at what he does. I enjoy his show. THe Booyah's are annoying but so are Stuarts stupid facial expressions when he doesn't have anything witty to say.

I can agree with all of this, but you're still missing the point.
Cramer and his network claim to be an authority.
That's what Stewart was attacking and with good reason.

Do you think posting under a moniker and not your real name makes you cool and undouchy?

How big of you. So ditching Bunny Chow in favor of your real name was your choice so that you wouldn't be as "douchy" as the rest of us?

Then what does he do on his show? Pick his nose?

I call douchbaggery on tagging the network to the program. Cramer's program Mad Money has a clear and definitive disclaimer that is posted before every show. He never claims to be an authority on anything. I watch channel 63 all the time. Never have they claimed to be an authority on anything.

I am in love with Maria Bartiromo. Who isn't.

Yes. If he thinks it will entertain his audience. Of course.

Stuart would too.

Yes clearly the two are completely unrelated.

Please explain to me how he's NOT a stock picker.

Do me a favor and read the very first line from his website.

Now, kindly STFU.

Okay, but what about all the times when Cramer puts on his jacket and sits in on the Today show, all composed and courteous? Who is he then?

Obviously, same clown, different wrapping. But NBC is selling him as an expert, and one who uses a very serious tone of voice.

Cramer fanboys (and girls) are distraught, and rightfully so. They just saw their boy get whooped, and badly, a few nights in a row and the videos are still circulating.

Joycie can answer this since Bunny Chow won't . Was Renee's decision to post under her own name her choice or the result of Bunny being banned?

He's Jim Cramer, Movie Critic

I'm not a fan of Mad Money. I am a fan of taking responsibility for my own financial choices. I am also a fan of those who do the same. Cramer didn't make anyone buy any stock.

In many ways, Jim is far more entertaining than Stuart is. Stu boy lost his snap. He relies on his talent to recruit talent. I give him a lot of credit for that.

They are? Where?

Maybe I just don't see it because I've been watching CNBC for over a decade and know that Cramer has never been considered the "serious one" in the group. Nor is he "the expert".

That would be David "the brain" Faber.

Lately one of my favorite programs on CNBC is Fast Money hosted by Dylan Raddigan. Those guys (and girl) are the serious experts, for reals.
