Michael Quigley, we hardly knew ya'

Enough of this PD clatter. Itâ??s time for the coalition reserves to take up arms and launch serious quantities of pink paintballs into the loins of the pathetic progressive slim who populate this isthmus like rats at a New York City Taco Bell. To Arms!

The term's actually not mine, but one coined by Al Gore when Clinton put him on the ticket in 92. An erstwhile DLCer, he, like your sockpuppets, tried to get mileage out of the fact that there are loonies on both extremes and, why, that made him perfectly positioned, right squat in the middle.

It played great, and after the Clinton/Gore victory, we got NAFTA, no health care reform, random bombing raids of brown people, lost both houses of Congress and eventually, the White House.

That centrism sure kicks ass.

Yeah, that Clinton administration sure sucked compared to the sweet salvation of a President that followed. Who the hell would you put in the white house if that sorry little wand of yours was magic.

Sure you can. Your entire personal reality is a product of your imagination.

This is demonstrably untrue.

I could never have imagined someone as monomaniacally vituperative and intellectually spavinous as yourself.

And yet here you are...

Now I understand. You were reaching for the thesaurus on the top shelf and it fell with life-changing force on your head. Drool much?

Oh I dunno, someone who maybe made it a point to differentiate himself from the GOP instead of co-opting their shit? You know, health care reform instead of NAFTA/drug war/throwing people off the social safety net.

I don't own a thesaurus; I don't need a thesaurus. Some of us have our native intellect to which to turn.

For those of you who occasionally feel the need to modulate the pitch of your whine, I'm glad that such things exist. God knows your crap is grating and monotonous enough as it is.

Maybe, but you sure talk like professor Erwin Corey. Except I am occasionally enlighted by something he says.

Perhaps.

You couldn't prove it by your posts on here.

Having a crappy response is better than altering one's remarks, removing them from context and representing them as an actual quotation. But then nobody expects you to be capable of even crappy responses, so you have done the best you can.

Who is this 'nobody' whose point of view you claim to represent? You and your multiple personalities?

Daisy, how does it feel knowing outside of ~5 cities in the United States, you'll never find a place that fits your political agenda. Until you move to France, perhaps?

Have fun.
