Deb's refers to John Russos' wife of course....and BBQ shrimp in Louisiana never gets grilled. It's always a sloppy butter based spicy sauce that the shrimp are pan simmered in, until they are nice and pink, preferably with the heads still attached.
In terms of BBQ, folks in North Carolina can't even agree on what is real BBQ. Eastern vs. western! But that's another thread for a totally different forum, preferably far from Wisconsin and Scott Walker and bratwurst.
