I was also wondering about that. Thanks to Wiki I found this:
The date set for primary elections for these House and Senate races is August 14, 2012.

Wisconsin is still burned out in the aftermath of the recall elections. Tammy has no real opposition and we haven't heard much from conservatives about the GOP primary.

The four GOP candidates tried to get the official endorsement at the RPW convention last May. But none of them was strong enough to get the endorsement. Thompson came in 3rd amongst the party leaders who go to these sorts of things. It will be interesting to see how the rank-and-file Republicans vote in the primary.

Will they go for the third leg of the Fitzwalkerstan cabal? the rich, out-of-touch business man they never heard of? the other rich, out-of-touch businessman who keeps losing? or will they go Old Familiar whose centrist politics are to the left of everybody in the GOP?

Does it seem like Tommy benefits from Tammy having no opposition more so than Tammy does? Between Republicans who want a the sure winner (based on polls) over Tammy and independents who don't see any point in voting for the lone Democrat in a primary I can't see Thompson losing the primary.

Hovde and Romney both were born milliionaires. Hovde is a banker and hedge fund manager. Now they both want to appeal connected to the common man and woman.

Senate candidate Hovde says he would be needed "citizen legislator"

Born on third and think they hit a triple.

If you are a white male, you were born on 3rd.

But I would add - the Lord loves a workin' man!

Class envy?

This is a typical statement made by someone pretending as though they know everything there is to know about another person based solely on his or her income. So what is a "run" in your eyes Hank? If Romey and Hovde were "born on 3rd" as you put it, what would it take to knock them in?

So when both those millionaires (born into their money) claim to identify with the common man and woman, do you agree with them?

Ha ha, your premise is absurd because you didn't carry the baseball analogy far enough!

Boy are you dumb.

I pretend to know anything about their life experience. Neither should you.

This is a typical statement from somebody who realizes the truth is wholly inconvenient to their beliefs. Can't call the original statement false, so you criticize the responder's motive.

Very insightful. I already feel sorry for Tammy when I think of the Thompson/Baldwin debates. Tammy will be a total Obama apologist. Tommy will crush.
