If Meade would be a co-panelist, I'd consider taking both of them off of my ignore list.

As you may know, I have a radio show, Sunday mornings 10 to noon on The Mic. .....I'd like you to be a guest this week, to discuss the Affordable Care Act, voter fraud, President Obama and Mitt Romney. We could do either 10-11 or 11-12, whichever works best for you. Whadaya say?

:D
Man Stu, that's pretty upstanding of you. I didn't know you had a radio show and don't know what 'The Mic' is, but I'm glad you have an open enough mind and strength of spirit to invite others that have a different worldview than you do. :D

I'm about 3 hours from madison, so I'll have to pass on your generous invite. But I STRONGLY suggest you do the same with another 'me' down there in madison. There were 70,000 people in madison that voted for Gov. Walker in the re-election election, so they are down there. They just keep quiet.

I used to call in WORT a lot. It pissed them off to no end as I was outside their cardboard box. They'd hang up on me all the time, call me all sorts of names, etc. I even talked to the program director and stated he should widen his shows, or at least his guests/format to be more diverse and he said no, they're doing OK. Same with the state journal's Gov. Palin porn, I mean discussion forms. People (leftists) know my voice as I went to protest jane fonda at her speaking at the union and afterwards I was talking to some palestinians in support of hamas and someone broke in and said, "YOU! You're the one that calls WORT!" I know of a few other instances as my voice is somewhat unique...even last week I called WPR and someone that knows me, but hasn't seen me in 30 years, called me.

So we are out there, sometimes amongst the shadows, but still, we exist. Why not take someone from paul ryan's office? He's from janesville, so he is at the epicenter of empty factories and the new beginnings.

By your posts, I think you would be fair and please be so. I listened to someone from the Rand Corp be interviewed, but the callers (regulars) did nothing but attack him on the name alone.

On the bright side, hopefully me and the few other normal people ( :D ) here can actually generate enough good discussion that this board won't turn into the daily's garbage can of decay...that no one goes to anymore anyway.....

I've never said that. Please point out were I have said that.

I, however, don't like angry lesbians though. Come to think of it, nobody does, even non-angry lesbians......

BTW - if Cornie declines, the guest that hour will be ... Bay Buchanan.

Didn't that radio station used to be a sun prairie pop rock station a jillion years ago. I never liked Pat Buchanan, but have warmed up to him in the last handful of years as a lot of what he was talking about has been taking place. I think I got my "tribal" from him, as this once great nation has been breaking down into tribes, so to speak. Don't know anything about fay.

Good Job though--keep it up and you'll expand your market share to, well, way beyond wort let's say. And you don't have to do on air begging for money. :D

Yes, THAT Bay Buchanan.[/quote]

if he really is going to have a conservative on--one that can discuss things well, even when being set up and attacked, it would be worth listening to.

Maybe he can take posts/subjects from here and have people call in and discuss them? Built in, current and relevant material.

Joke: If he get's a call and no one is there, just heavy breathing, how do we know it's a leftist? Because Stu's now on their ignore feature!

Cornbread you are a goddamn pussy that cannot even back your taunts with the "discussion" you call for. Levitan did not nessessarily invite you to the studio so you could call in from Alaska for all we know, very weak excuse given your retoric. You mention WORT and WPR, but you never heard of that Clear Channel station Stu spends some time at? Look I don't listen to the mic92.1 much these days (much less Stu's show), but I would have checked in for this interview as it could have been the most interesting thing I've heard in months.

All of this makes me wonder if bdog and Meade are on to something with regard to your persona. But I really do not think so. So why are you such a pussy on this one?

In-studio is always better and certainly preferable, but if there were a way to verify Cornie's identity, yes, we could do it by phone.

:( Aw, man, my feelings be hurt! :(

that cannot even back your taunts with the "discussion" you call for.

Are we not discussing things here? Have I missed anything?

Ya know, it wasn't until later when I told my wife about this and going to madison, she said maybe it was by phone. I didn't think about that as my involvement in real debates/discussions have been in person. But what I've learned is editing takes place--sort of like what leftist nbc did to zimmerman to make him look like a racist brown guy.
If it makes ya feel better, I used to hang out on the mall at the end of state street during the 80s and do a whole lotta debating--there's just something about a live audience that's so fun, exhilarating.
But I was a leftist back then. :(
But since, I've grow'd up! :D

I prefer the two dimensional, text form of debate as a lot of the BS gets cast aside. No one can say, "I never said that!". Ever wonder why I use the quote thingie so much? And when someone states I said this or that, I ask them to quote me?
Also, in live time debates, when someone is making a point, get interrupted, name called, etc.
Then what takes place is most of the time is spent on what one did/didn't say, did mean or didn't mean, etc.

None of that is conducive to a good, honest debate/discussion.
I like the precision and forced honesty of text discussion.
And for those that cannot exist in such an arena, they can put me on their 'ignore' feature, leaving them in their same state of ignorance.

You mention WORT and WPR, but you never heard of that Clear Channel station Stu spends some time at?

I have heard of clear channel--and think they are the bane of good radio, but that's it. I stopped listening to radio stations from large areas as they're most likely to be ran by clear channel types, so all their music is repeated cookie cutter fecal matter.
I prefer small market radio as they are free to play what they want, or what people request as they don't have corporate playlists. I've not lived in madison for about 30 years--visited a few times though.

Look I don't listen to the mic92.1 much these days (much less Stu's show), but I would have checked in for this interview as it could have been the most interesting thing I've heard in months.

I guess you just gave Stu some feedback.
In the meantime, I guess you just gave this board props too. ;)
BTW, i do try to infuse humor in my posts too.

All of this makes me wonder if bdog and Meade are on to something with regard to your persona. But I really do not think so. So why are you such a pussy on this one?

Because I'm taller, better looking and have more hair when I'm in my internet persona.

I agree--but is there any way to verify I am cornie here, whoever cornie is or isn't? The only thing ya'll have is an internet ISP/#, fake email account and a PW for that account. I'm just an anonymous internet gomer that likes to debate.

Why not see if the Lt. Gov would come on your show? She's a real, live person.....just thought of something. Is your radio station the one that went after her and her children, in the sexual manner so common to leftists?

BRB...............

edit:
OK, it wasn't your station. Isn't multiple windows a wonderful thing? Makes a lot of information available to simple folks like me.

So.............

Why not invite Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch on your show?
Everyone knows her and it would be very interesting on many levels, mainly to see if she'd do it after having experienced how madison leftists are....and see how you handle it, not to mention your callers.

FWIW, non-leftists outside of madison mostly view madison as a combination of a trash can and cesspool on many levels. Unless they're young and want to party, there's no reason to go there.

So as I said, now that would be interesting.
Or someone else--the GOP has a very deep bench of very capable, young conservatives. The only question is will it be worth it to them? You'd have to present yourself well and make it worth it to them. After all, it is madison you're representing.

I listened to lou dobbs on wort one time. I was surprised he took their invite. Well, it was funny as about half way through their interview, he said something like, "I knew I shouldn't have done this" as the discussion/debate quickly deteriorated into bovine fecal matter.

What makes you think it's a larger audience? The audience for incoherent hate radio isn't that large, even in Madison.
