He's too busy handling all those "voter fraud" cases.

So, best case scenario, some scapegoats (MBF employees) take the fall for FitzWalker's efforts to steal elections.

I think this is where we're going. "Oh, those naughty interns! They were deleting files behind our back! Shame!"

Yeah, right.

Maybe this thread really belongs over in the Town Vibe section thread about prostitution. Michael Best has their "Chicago" lawyer on the case! I bet the taxpayers get screwed paying for his bill as well.

Thanks for the link. My favorite snippet:
And the stakes are high for the Republican legislature's law firm, Michael Best & Friedrich, whose lawyers have been sharply criticized by the court for their handling of the case. Republican National Committee Chair Reince Priebus is a partner at the Wisconsin-based firm, though he is currently on leave while he leads the RNC.

“Whether such incompleteness was the result of inadvertence or ineptitude or otherwise cannot be determined.”

Who cares if the Walker administration tried to hide their agenda by outsourcing to a third party, or violated the voting rights of Latinos, or hindered a Federal investigation? The taxpayers only spent a million dollars defending the nefarious activities.
OK, so they destroyed some evidence. They might have been stupid or inept, but it wasn't deliberate (probably).

So it's a fact that they didn't comply but there's no proof that it was due to incompetence or just an inadvertent noncompliance. Because the proof was destroyed.

Huh.

So, it's okay to destroy evidence if you do it inadvertently? Can anyone expand on that a bit?

What. a. fucking. CROCK.

Jesus Christ, I can't believe our Wisconsin government has been so completely overrun with petty, right wing activist crooks in such a short amount of time.

Actually petty's not the right word for it, since they're systematically destroying our state, from the social safety net to the very rule of law.

hopefully that's gnashy enough for meade
