Yeah, clearly I do.

I am the Prime Evil. The rest of y'all are tertiary, at best.

I like Chuck Schick's idea for a nickname for Sheppy: the Muppet.

It's almost as good as my own nickname for Sheppy: the Poodle.

Name three things you see as you drive on the Menomonee Parkway. Quick!!

As a Milwaukeean born and raised, I couldn't name one. I did my best to avoid the Camaros and mullets from that side of town.

Et tu Cheese?

I'm not voting 'cause there's no option for "who gives a good fuck whose hand is up that dumbfuck muppet's ass?"

Honestly, folks, look at my post total. Do you really believe I've got time to post under more than one foroniker? Please ...

The fact you've got time to post at all, pretty much sums up the pointlessness of your protesteth-ing.

Another thing: "a good fuck"? No way. But a bad fuck? You bet your ass. Lots more forons than would ever care to admit would line up to give a bad fuck whose hand is up which schickfuck chuckit's ass. Don't look, I say. Don't look!

Doesn't "mullets and Camaros" pretty much sum up the entire city of Milwaukee?

That and ghetto.

I think it's Manchester United.

The suspect's spelling and grammar are too precise.

It's not quite precise enough to be the Professor, Marvell, or Mr.Schick.

My guess: Narcoleptish.

That is the argument for it being a collaboration.

Isn't it the least bit possible that Sheppy is the creation of a guy in Milwaukee who decided one day to fuck with people on this forum solely for his own entertainment?

I am a Milwaukeean. I can't tell you what you see along the Meno. River Parkway because I've never been there, either on foot or in a vehicle.

I do traverse the Menomonee Valley on a regular basis. Here is what I see from a trip downtown to the Stadium through the Valley:

- a pretty white bridge.
- the Harley Davidson museum, under construction
- huge silos that used to house salt.
- the high rise freeway bridge
- a power plant
- drydocked boats
- what used to be the stockyards
- an engineering firm
- a City garage with a bunch of utility trucks parked in back
- a sculpture garden outside a meat packing plant
- another viaduct
- Marqutte U's soccer fields
- the Potowatomi Casino
- an active rail yard
- another City garage with a bunch of cop cars parked on the side
- an early 20th Century power plant that now houses an indoor skate park
- a roundabout
- another viaduct
- a channelized, industrialized river
- a foundary (active)
- what used to be a tannery
- a frozen pizza plant, under construction
- yet another viaduct
- a park, under construction, with two giant smokestacks preserved from the factory that used to be there.
- the same river, upstream, looking much more naturalized
- the Miller Stadium parking lots

I am sorry that I forgot to include that option. Actually, I was always partial to the Milwaukee angle since it seems obvious that 'Sheppy' comes from the formerly hilarious "The Crazy Shepard".

I will never forget their advice column, "Ask Harold" as in Harold Brier.

His advice for helping a bedwetting son: 'use a rubber hose to beat him. He will learn not to pee and you won't leave marks." That was the general response, but VERY funny.

I just got caught up in the teasing of the self-appointed big boys on this little anonymous playground and forgot the other options. . . .which is not to say that I don't still think 'Sheppy' is a creation of a trio of posters, I just acknowledge that it could be some guy from Milwaukee who justs wants to fuck with the self-righteous Madison crowd.

You are dead-on re the "self-appointed big boys" and the Milwaukee angle.

Three guys (esp these) couldn't coordinate jack. 'Sides, who's the put-on on, if not them? And Sheppy obviously has his own voice.

But you're exactly right on: The mockery of inflating Madison directed by a Milwaukeean works for motivation and is the obvious and simple explanation. It corrects a certain misapprehension about both towns. It's the Sheppy Express!

That said, Sheppy IS EXACTLY one and the SAME person as Lecturer Wigs-chaff. There's really no doubt.

InSheptitude,

somberfall

p.s. -- didn't you used to play a little guitar-y?
