Any Similiarities?

Did not really know where to post this, but as I listen to a post-punk? band practice in my near east side neighborhood, I'm thinking about the early 1900's and the 2010 atmospheres. Exuberance comes to mind. Other observations?

I just came from a neighborhood festival that had an old Ferris wheel like the kind I used to ride when I was a kid, listened to a french rock band from Brooklyn whose name means Citizen Soldier from the French Revolution, while drinking a beer from the tent run by the neighborhood gay bar. And it was pretty crowded.

I'm not sure if exuberance is the right word but I guess it'll do till I can think of one. I don't know how similar this is to the turn of the last century, but I cannot for the life of me think of anywhere that I have enjoyed living more than here.

Damn. That didn't help the thread out at all, did it?

I love you guys!

Thud.
