Why on earth would I support this when WSOR so doesn't give a shit about Madison.

I support high speed rail. It's clean, fast, sexy, and progressive.

I liked this part:

...daily traffic on the streets is low: 2,000 for Blount, 1,350 for Livingston and 1,150 for Brearly....

The commissioner of railroads will hold public hearings on the closing on Sept. 27 and 28 at 610 N. Whitney Way.


Whitney Way?? They sure do want to make it convenient for people near Livingston, Blount, and Brearly, don't they?

That's where the commissioner's office is, so this is not an abnormal lack of sensitivity to the affected residents, just the usual lack thereof.

I'm opposed to this, and most other things that may complicate traffic on the Isthmus. High speed rail would have been something I'd support. WSOR's solution to a nonexistent problem, not so much.
