I always thought that carpet looked like vomit or pizza.

I hope the replacement is elegant.

I always loved that carpet. It was a unique design for a unique building. To each their own of course but I'm going to be checking out the remnants for sale afterward.

"We still have people who come in for the first time and are surprised," McManners said. "Brides have asked, 'Is there any way we can cover the carpet?'"

This kinda bugs me. Like a colorful carpet is going to affect your precious wedding. Try the Days Inn.

I liked it too. The place is sort of chilly and bare on its own, with those big empty windows aimed at the water, and I thought they picked a bright carpet color to warm it up.

I think that carpet is hideous. Good riddance.

Just curious, is it just the colors you hate or the design, or both?

I hope the new carpet has at least a design to it, something close to fitting for a FLW inspired building. Orange definitely isn't for everyone but it's gotta have some visual texture. They can't just throw down a beige berber.
