Japan and Libya are stealing our thunder

If it's news, but not politics, then it goes here.

Japan and Libya are stealing our thunder

I wish things would settle down in Japan and Libya so the US labor protests would get more attention. Bad timing on their parts. But I hope they recover soon.

I'm sure those who lost loved ones in these tragic events appreciate your "concern". Bad timing... give me a break.

Hopefully, teachers can continue to do their impossibly difficult jobs until spring break and summer vacation kick in. By then, all the hubbub about Japan should die down and the world can return its focus back to the teachers where it belongs.

Despite your wishful thinking, google news lists over 1,800 news story on this issue, many posted in the last few days.

I think cain's right, it'll die down for a while.

Might be good for a few seconds of air time when the recall elections get scheduled, though.

Might be a few newzies take an interest in how many Dem elections there are compared to Repubs.

Just a guess.
