Mitchell report

Badgers, Packers, Mallards. Paddling, running, golfing. And bikes!

I understand that McGwire is listed in the "real list" posted several messages back, but he's not mentioned in any reports at either si.com or espn.com (including reports meant to summarize the list of report targets), and in the actual report he appears to be mentioned in connection only with andro and the Jose Canseco saga. I don't see any specific allegation against him along the lines of, for example, Kent Mercker:

Radomski stated that he sold one kit of human growth hormone to Mercker in October 2002. Mercker had recently undergone surgery and, according to Radomski, was seeking human growth hormone because he believed it might accelerate his recovery. Radomski sent the growth hormone by overnight mail; Mercker paid by check.

He's not in the current list on ESPN, but we all know he juiced. More importantly, he knows that everyone knows he juiced. Just look at the guy during his testimony. McGwire, Sosa, and Palmeiro are not off the hook just because they aren't in the report...

For what it's worth, the Mitchell Report clearly states that, even after hundreds of interviews, they couldn't find anyone to back up Canseco's allegations that McGwire took steroids. He certainly isn't getting a free pass, though, as evidenced by his paltry support for the Hall.

Exactly, he def. did it, Canseco is just not that credible. Either way, he should be in the HOF as should all of these guys that qualify. For most of them, steroids/HGH were not banned at the time of their use. Why wouldn't they take the drugs?

Unlike Big Mac, Rocket is ready to fight!!!
