Fav Pack Moment of 2009

Postby Stella_Guru » Fri Jan 15, 2010 2:46 pm

Originally I was thinking it was Rodgers wearing fat Vikings ass for a hat. But upon further review, it has to be during the first Bears game when a cottage cheese Packer cheerleader stood there after getting hit by a player on the sidelines.

Gotta be the game against the Cowgirls when Woodson just took over. 9 Tackles, a big sack, an INT and 2 FF, one of which he recovered all while completely shutting down Jason Witten. Single handily won that big game.

Although it's getting a bit old watching the Packers constantly beat up on the Bears, it still provides great entertainment. Personally, I enjoyed the blowout against the Lions, as it gave me some time to catch up on some reading...

Because of their dreadful finish to the season, the Bears should be able to reload quickly through the draft.

But, wait....they traded their 1st rounder(#11 overall) for Jeff George.

Yeah, but they still have a high second rounder, right? Whoops, shipped to Tampa for Gaines Adams.

Enjoy another losing year in 2010, Stella.

Well if they suck next year too they will get a decent pick in 2011. Oh what? They traded that away for Jeff George too? ah fuck.

I dunno, although the Bears really suck, they could have won both Packer games in the last minute or so. And Lovie's record agaisnt the Pack is something like 7-5, with nothing but an average team at best isn't it?

Wow, this guy chose to tutor JaMarcus Russell instead of Jay Cutler.

Insiders say that Hue Jackson took the Raider's job because Davis promised he will become the Raider's next head coach. Besides, who would want to enter into a lame duck situation except someone like Martz, who was looking for any way
possible to re-enter the league. Next year will be Lovie's last season, and the 2011/2012 season will likely not happen. The owners are going to lock the players out.

And the winner is..... Mike Martz! Martz you have just been tasked with bringing "The Greatest Show On Turf" to The Windy City. I can taste the FAIL already.

I predict early success followed by dwindling results by the end of the season, a close to .500 record, including just missing the playoffs, which means another exciting debate next January about whether Cutler is more to blame than Lovie, or maybe it was Martz this time.

It's a win-win for Bears fans. What if Martz is exactly what Cutler needs? Cutler certainly won't be Ortonized anymore. And if it fails it will be entertaining watching Cutler, Martz, Tice and Lovie screaming at each other on the sidelines. And most of all, it will probably lead to Lovie's firing, which would be a good thing. Lets hope the owners don't lock the players out so we can continue to watch them destroy their brains for our amusement.

Updated fav Pack moment of 2009: the moment when Packer brass decided to switch to a 3/4 defense and moved Aaron Kampman to linebacker. The 2008 sack leading defensive end would sure look good in the beloved Bear colors as he is about to become an unrestricted free-agent.

Yes clearly GB had a better defense in 2008. *sarcasm

Indeed.

Packers Defensive Ranking:

2008:
Pts: 22nd out of 32
Yds: 20th out of 32

2009:
Pts: 7th out of 32
Yds: 2nd out of 32
