Your 2011 Milwaukee Brewers!

Badgers, Packers, Mallards. Paddling, running, golfing. And bikes!

LaRussa has always seemed like the type of manager that the Cardinal organization/players/fans must jealously love.

I fookin' hate the Cards. Begrudgingly respect too.
The Cubs/fans are mostly annoying when they're winning games and talkin'talkin'talkin'.
Cinci gets my respect and Pittsburgh gets my pity.
Houston can suck it.
I can sort of understand why some donkeys still dismiss the Brewers, considering them a non-factor franchise with an undeniable history of losing. The Brewers really need to win a championship to be taken seriously. For the second time in my life, I feel they're on the right track.

My relative respect/ambivalence towards some teams in the NL Central is in sharp contrast my hatred towards any team besides the Packers in the NFC Central. Among 'em, it's really a tough call as to who I despise the most.

I dunno it can be a toss up between the Vikings and the Bears but surely you have some pity for the mes in Detroit. That could all change this year by them not sucking so incredibly hard.....

Hey how 'bout them Brewers! Nice win today against the Cards.

In the last 24 hours, the Cardinals under Tonly LaRussa have:

- Alleged that the Miller Park video "ribbon" is brighter when St. Louis pitchers are on the mound. Or something.

- Attempted to get in a bean ball war, even though putting Pujols on late in a tight game, when he's hitting like crap against MKE pitching, was dangerous.

- had catcher Molina get into a bumpfest with a home plate umpire over balls & strikes, getting run at a pivotal moment in the game.

- got into a shouting match with drunken idiot fans who admittedly told LaRussa they hope he gets shingles again.

- gagged up the rubber match against Randy Wolf

This team is not deserving of all the respect they get, mainly for being from St. Louis. LaRussa is acting more and more like Whitey Herzog every day.

The Cardinals are the little league team with all the best equipment and the fancy uniforms. When they lose, it's always because of the field conditions or the condition of the balls.

So is this choke-tacular streak going to doom us for the playoffs? Will they do just enough to fend off the ittle league team with all the best equipment and the fancy uniforms? If they make it what kind of noise will they make? Fielder ending up a Yankee, Red Sock, Cub? 150Mill or 200?

I don't see the Sox or Yankees paying that much money for a DH.

Who would have predicted it would be the offense that would be the problem all year?

(well, anyone who realized that a lineup projected to start out machines Betancourt and Gomez at the same time was a bad idea. but that's another conversation.)

I predict the Cardinals current regime uses their typical classy people skills, lets Albert's insane 10 year contract demand walk and signs Prince as a younger alternative.

Here's a good case for Fielder going to the Cubs written by a Badger alum. I like the last bit, though:
It just makes too much sense.

So much sense, that Fielder will probably end up somewhere other than the Windy City next summer.

In other news, DON'T PANIC!

Reds = swept.

Magic Number = 4

The ideal situation would see them wrapping it up in Chicago on Tuesday. Who's got tickets?

The Hammering Hebrew hit the winning home run last night. First title in 29 years. Talk about a long dry spell. Too bad they won't get past the Phillies.

Great game this afternoon! Was hoping Gallardo would get to pitch the 9th for the complete game, though.

Hairston did awesome on 3rd today. They should have made that switch a month ago. Not to mention Gallardo's great pitching! Keep it up Brewers!

Go Brewers. GOOOOOOOOOOOO BREWERS!!!

And of all things, the team's two flakes win the game for them. I was convinced they had no chance when they pulled Hart and Weeks from the lineup. I was thinking "You might have to score another run yet..."
