Should Tammy Baldwin cosponsor "fully-funded withdrawal

Postby AlphaLiberal » Wed Mar 07, 2007 6:55 pm

Good for them!

They are carefully framing this as "Fully funding withdrawal," not defunding the occupation. This means that Congress has given the President a new strategic direction and the funds for that direction but not the fund for him to stubbornly pursue failed, bloody policies.

More detail to come tomorrow.

The sponsors include Barbara Lee, Lynn c. Woolsey, Maxine Waters, Jerrold Nadler, Maurice D. Hinchey, Sam Farr.

But where's Tammy? Let's hope she cosponsors!

I revised the subject of this message. Tammy is a member of the â??Out of Iraqâ?? Caucus, but I've not yet seen that she is behind this plan.
