Of course. Do the web search nutria linked to earlier in the thread. Top hits are from Fox (of course), New York Post (of course), some right-wing nutjob site called waznmentobe, and HEY, there we are! We're number 4! We're number 4!

Good lackey, Ned! Here's your cookie in the form of a GOP paycheck.

Ha! This thead is just more proof that "racism" and "affirmative action" are simply political means to an end for the left; a battering ram to silence those that disagree with them politically.

Very sad...

Ned, that one is pond-scum low even for you.

Disgusting indeed.

Are you not bothered even one little bit that you're using an entire race for underhanded politicizing? Are you not wondering why NONE of the Native American nations have weighed in on this? Do you have ANY christianity in you at all?

From Noah Bierman, Boston Globe:
Warren said that she did not know that [Harvard University Law School had promoted her as a minority hire when the school was under fire for a lack of diversity in its faculty] and that she did not recall using her Indian ancestry to advance her career.

But the Globe and other outlets reported Sunday that Warren had listed herself as a minority professor between 1986 and 1995 in the Association of American Law Schools desk book, a major reference for legal professors.

Harvard Law School had a diversity problem: not enough minorities on the faculty. This is where journalists should be digging. What did Harvard and Warren know and when did Harvard and Warren know it? Warren began listing herself as a minority in 1986, one year before being hired by the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1987, where she became the William A Schnader Professor of Commercial Law in 1990. Did the University of Pennsylvania Law School, like Harvard, have diversity problems?

Elizabeth Warren needs to spell out her position on affirmative action and then offer a plausible explanation of why she listed herself as a minority during the years between 1986 and 1995, not before, and not after.

"Elizabeth Warren’s stumbling efforts to douse the firestorm surrounding her claims of being a Native American minority have raised concerns among local and national Democrats who are questioning her campaign’s competence.

“There’s nobody watching this that doesn’t think she’s in big trouble,” one well-known Massachusetts Democrat said"

"Sabato also said that Warren’s claim that she didn’t list herself as a minority to gain an employment advantage is not believable.

“This is what happens when candidates don’t tell the truth,” he said. “It’s pretty obvious she was using (the minority listing) for career advancement.”

On the other hand, maybe she doesn't need to explain herself. Whether or not she is Cherokee, EW is a woman, right? If she were male, would she be getting grilled this way over her qualifications and abilities? Isn't it possible that Elizabeth Warren is just one more target in the cruel Republicans' war on women?

Anything? Michelle Malkin got your tongue?

I kid, I kid --- you posted what you thought was a picture of Pres. Obama crying -- way to deliver the goods. (And don't worry, I won't tell anyone you got your pics confused.)

This is awesome -- I've been waiting for MIchelle Malkin, err Ned, to stand up for minority rights against overbearing white males.

I truly have native American heritage and am fully disgusted by Ms. Warren.
First of all just because you have native American heritage this does not make you more qualified for a job unless you are going for the job of tribe elder.
Clearly her employers wanted to exploit her alleged heritage. As a native American this is revolting to me.
My grandmother, on my mothers side was Shawnee straight from the reservation, and my fathers mother, my grandmother on my fathers side was Mohawk Indian native American from Canada. For those of you that don't know uneducated liberals Canada is part of this huge mass of land that is called North America, and natives lived here before Europeans came here and divided the land. Mohawk territories stretched from Canada to Western Massachusetts.
I do not own no casino nor do I want one, I qualify for no special interest loans, and when I was a child I was basically spat on because of my Indian heritage.
Now this woman from Oregon. Claims to be part Cherokee gets a job not based on merit but because Penn State, and Harvard need a token Indian (that she can not prove except her recipes in a cookbook, plagiarized ), and people can not call her what she is a fraud.
I am not a republican, I am a civil libertarian, I believe Gays should have the right to be married, and I believe in limited government.
I can understand if her grandmother may have told her she had Cherokee heritage, but do the research before you make your claims, and be proud of your heritage if you truly have it and don't let someone exploit it for their gain or exploit it for yours.
I believe in some of her ideals but not this one. If she should be ever proven 1/32 Cherokee she is still shamed in my book, and if not she should go to jail for identity fraud.
A true Native American

I seem to not note any "high cheekbones", so is she sure she's an indian? Wasn't that her criteria for an affirmative action slot?

If we can have an on again, off again kenyan born president, why not a fake indian taking the "kennedy seat"?

Hey we had a draft dodger/deserter president who 1. was a 'c' student admitted to Yale as a legacy 2. who sold weapons to the enemy and lied to congress about it. I don't think anyone will ever beat that.
