Even if the Supreme Court rejects religious challenges to Health Care Reform, the American Academy of Pediatrics reports the following:
...teens face other obstacles to getting emergency contraception. For instance, a 2012 study that had 17-year-olds telephone pharmacies asking about morning-after pills found only 57 percent of them correctly told the caller that she could get the drugs without a prescription.

Also, some physicians refuse to provide the prescriptions to teenagers, while others do so only in cases of rape, AAP's research shows, suggesting that the refusal "may be related to the physician's beliefs about whether it is OK for teenagers to have sex."

http://thehill.com/blogs/healthwatch/ot ... record-low

In 2007, 64 percent said the government had a responsibility to ensure that all Americans have access to healthcare. Today, only 44% agree that it's the government's job.

When I first saw this headline, I was horrified. But scratching beneath the surface, it is mostly Republicans who have switched position, obviously as a result of the civil war over Obamacare.

I think the numbers in favor of universal health care will swing back. But it is going to be a bitch to get medicaid expansion to the Republican-controlled states, including Wisconsin. It could take a decade.

Sounds like Walker is going to not expand medicaid, but then use weasel words to gloss over consequences.

If WI voters buy what this guy is selling, we deserve him.
