Paul Ryan's hometown recovers, in part, with government aid

Of course Ryan is against such aid... at least in theory.

Lyin' Ryan gave quite a speech last night:

I couldn't watch the whole thing, it was too painful. I had to switch away between lies. Meanwhile, Dwight got carried away with enforcing company policy and had the entire Office drug-tested. But he reluctantly bent the rules for the boss. I'm not sure why I brought that up.

My favorite lie: blaming a Senator from Illinois for the closing of the GM plant in his district.

On top of the mountain of lies, the cherry on this shit-cone, if you will, is the compliant media:
David Dayen wrote:We live in a time when the media literally thinks it’s a separate job to separate true from false in reporting on national political figures. They think their main job is theater criticism. Read “Paul Ryan Accepts Republican Vice-Presidential Nomination”, the lead story by Jim Rutenberg in the New York Times today, and it’s just a rote regurgitation of what Ryan said, faithfully captured. This is how most campaign speeches are covered.

Sure, there are pieces out there you can read to debunk the speech. But they’re confined to partisan media, or the partisan parts of more traditional media offerings. The Washington Post editorial board surprised a bit by calling the speech “definitely misleading,” but that’s in the opinion section. It’s just their opinion.

Did Paul Ryan really march in Klan rallies in the 1930's? Opinions differ.

Does he throw Kenya into conversations about Obama, like you and Meade like to do?

Wow, from Fox news. Granted it's the print edition.

Paul Ryan’s speech in 3 words

1. Dazzling
2. Deceiving
3. Distracting

I always figured Ryan as more of a Hoobastank type of guy. What's he doing listening to these foreigner rockers from the socialist hellscape that is Canada? Aren't there enough shitty American bands for him to choose from? Is Fuel still a thing? What about Alien Ant Farm?

Too bad for Janesville. Maybe he never expected to win VP.
