Chicago is following the same script as Philly, NOLA, Atlanta, NY, and LA in its bi-partisan agenda of furnishing the grounds to brand teachers and schools as "underperforming" so staff can be fired, schools closed, and their resources funneled to charter school operators. The states that fire the most teachers, close the most schools, and grant the most charters get the most federal funding under the Obama/Duncan national policy, "The Race to the Top."

I'd say most reasonable people have a hard time sympathizing with public sector unions. I really wish we'd have fewer public sector unions and more private sector unions. Then again, that line is becoming more and more blurred anyway.

I'd love to see more union organization around exploited immigrant farm workers. They're a group who really truly needs representation.

Not sure about that.

It is important to remember that in Ned's world, women he finds unattractive should not be treated fairly.

Clearly, they're treated more than fairly in the hot lunch line.

You're right. Being overweight probably makes them bad at their job and undeserving of reasonable compensation.
Please share more of your incisive commentary so I know who to look down on and ridicule.

Well, we know that Sarah Palin, Barbara Bush, Condi Rice and pro-lifers have been treated quite shabbily here by our friends on the left, so you can start there.

Thank god the right's working towards private, parochial schools. They have a long history of hot, HOT teachers.
