When Romney asked the rhetorical question: Are you better off today than you were four years ago?, he didn't include himself. Or as Fitzgerald wrote in the Great Gatsby: "The rich get richer and the poor get - children."

Indeed, this favoritism is very much part of our fabric. It is curious that those of us with so much seem so scared at this point in time. Much more curious is the the demand of the hoarders to get their "fair share", which seems to be most of everything. It is sad how brutal we have become and how much of our collective sense of civicism has been wrung out of our country over the last 40 years. I am told that this is common behaviour for an empire on its last legs. I do not choose to believe this notion and will fight like hell for my nation. So why do the class warriors of the enriched want to call folks like myself unpatriotic?

Federal Reserve policies favor the rich
The Fed unveiled its third round of stimulus last week. The massive bond-buying initiative, called quantitative easing, aims to prop up the economy through a few key channels -- namely the housing market and the stock market.

Both of those channels skew in favor of Americans who are already in solid financial standing, and it seems, the wealthier you are, the more you have to gain
